Wounds
A wound is defined as an injury that involves cutting or breaking of bodily tissue, which can obviously cause pain to the individual.
There is also spiritual wound which is invisible and cannot be detected by physical examination but nevertheless real and can be just as serious as physical injury, it can also affect us mentally and emotionally.
Psalms 147:3 Echoes “He heal the broken hearted and binds up the wounds.”
I believe that the Psalmist King David was going through a hard time when he realised that God is the only one that could heal his heart, he understood that God is not only a kingdom builder but He is also a healer and a restorer. We as Christians sometimes forget who we are in Christ when we go through pain.
Jeremiah 10:19 Woe is me for my hurting! My wound is grievous: but I said, truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.
