Philippians 2:2

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 1 Peter 3:8

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

1 Corinthians 1:10

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Colossians 3:14

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 2 Corinthians 13:11

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. Romans 15:6

Philippians 1:27

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

Romans 14:19

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. Acts 4:32

1 Corinthians 12:12-13

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also, is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

What is Unity

Unity is being together or at one with someone or something. It’s the opposite of being divided. This is a word for togetherness or oneness.

Jesus prayed that we as Christians, would be one, as he and his father are one. Jesus said our oneness will convince the world that God sent him to die for our sins, and that God loves us, his community here on earth. Jesus’ greatest commission on earth was oneness. “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you”We as Christians need Unity for survival.

Unity can protect us from evil doings, hence we should help each other and together we should fight and face the evil and negative influences. When we stand together, we can accomplish more and enjoy freedom from all kinds of negativity. John Dickinson quotes that United we stand, divided we fall, I totally agree, let us stand together in love and unity. We are stronger together than when we are alone.
