Philosophy View of The Value of Living a Life That Pleasing God
Pleasing God involves living in alignment with divine principles, guided by faith, love and obedience. For everyone who calls on the name of Christ for salvation, the objective is, or ought to be, to please God. In order to be pleasing to God, one must live in the Spirit rather than the body, seek God by faith, and walk worthy of our calling by being obedient to God's will. Even though it may seem difficult, God desires our happiness and makes it possible for us to achieve His will. The ability to do these things comes from the presence of His Spirit inside us.
Biblical View of The Value of Living a Life That Pleasing God
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 10:1 KJV
Christians should behave and act in ways that do good for others and bring a positive experience.
It is a deep journey that is led by the concepts and teachings that may be found in the Bible in order to live a Christian life that meets the requirements of God. Believers are given a road map in the shape of the Scriptures, which emphasise the transformational power of faith, love, and obedience. In the course of this investigation, we look into the varied worth of leading a life that is in alignment with the will of God, relying upon a variety of texts from the Bible to provide light on the importance of this commitment.
Building Blocks of Belief
Faith, as emphasised in Hebrews 11:6, is the cornerstone upon which a Christian life is built. "And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." In order to cultivate a profound and steadfast confidence in God, faith serves as the foundation of a Christian life that is in harmony with God. The faith that we have in Him goes beyond just believing that He exists; rather, it requires us to seek Him out and depend on Him actively.
Without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6 NIV
According to Hebrews 12:1-2 compares the path of a Christian to that of a race: As a result, given that we are encircled by such a large cloud of witnesses, let us cast aside everything that stands in the way and the sin that so easily entangles us. In addition, let us run the race that has been set out for us with perseverance, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the one who was the pioneer and the perfecter of faith. In order to live a life that is agreeable to God, one must be persistent and maintain a constant focus on Jesus, who is the model of faith.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

In The Role of The Guiding Principle, Love
Keeping the commandment to love is essential to living a life that is acceptable to God as a Christian. According to Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus outlines the most important commandments as follows: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." First and foremost, this is the most important commandment. "Love your neighbour as you love yourself" is the second verse, which is similar to his. When a person is a believer, love becomes the guiding principle that moulds all aspects of their relationships, both with God and with other people.
Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Matthew 22:37-39 KJV
The Apostle Paul, in the book of 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 provides more elaboration on the value of love by noting that even the most extraordinary deeds are useless if they are not accompanied by love. "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal." Therefore, a life that is acceptable to God is one that is characterised by real, selfless love—a love that reflects the selfless love that Christ displayed on the cross.
If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.
If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. 1Corinthians 13:1-3
Manifestations of The Holy Spirit
The notion of the "fruit of the Spirit" is presented. The verses read, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." In a life that is guided by the Holy Spirit, these characteristics are the natural outgrowth that results. The cultivation of a character that is characterised by these fruits is the result of living in accordance with the will of God, as described in the Bible. In addition to bringing joy to God, they also make a positive contribution to the well-being of both the person and the community. Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.
Meekness, temperance: against such, there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 KJV
Obedience to the Teachings of God
Following the teachings of the Bible is one of the most important aspects of leading a Christian life that is pleasing to God. Not only are Christians taught to be listeners of the Word, but they are also urged to be doers of the Word in James 1:22-25: "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves." Do what it instructs you to do. There is a deep love and regard for God that is shown through obedience. To do so requires bringing one's behaviour into alignment with the ethical and moral precepts that may be found in the Bible.
The qualities of obedience are praised very often throughout the Psalms. It is said in Psalm 119:105 that "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." In order to provide light on the way that leads to obedience and righteousness, the Word of God acts as a guiding light. The importance of the Bible in averting sin is emphasised in Psalm 119:11, which states, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Memorization and internalisation of the Word of God serve as a shield against deviating from His will during times of uncertainty.
Trying to Find God's Will
It is necessary to have a sincere desire to discover and carry out God's plan in order to please God. An instruction that has stood the test of time may be found in Proverbs chapter 3:5-6 KJV: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." An essential component of leading a life that is in harmony with God's purpose is putting one's faith in the wisdom of God and surrendering oneself to His direction. Throughout His life on earth, Jesus embodied the concept of surrendering to the will of God. In the Garden of Gethsemane, when He was confronted with the imminent torture of the cross, He prayed, "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done" (Luke 22:42). This deep act of submission highlights how important it is to align one's will with the will of God, especially when one is confronted with difficulties.
Grace as well as redemption
A life that is acceptable to God as a Christian is not exclusively based on the efforts of the individual but rather is founded on the grace and salvation that is supplied through Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 further states, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works so that no one can boast." The Christians are reminded by this fundamental reality that their position before God is not dependent on their own merit but rather on the unmerited favour that was given to them through the blood of Christ.
Further emphasis is placed on the freedom from condemnation that is available to those who are in Christ in Romans 8:1, which states, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Because they are aware that they are receivers of God's grace, Christians are given the ability to conduct their lives with appreciation and obedience because of this certainty of redemption.
This is the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.
One of the most important factors in the process of changing Christians into people who are pleasing to God is the permanent presence of the Holy Spirit inside them. In Romans 12:2, Paul urges Christians to be changed by the renewing of their minds: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be converted by the renewing of your mind. Then, you will be able to test and validate what the will of God is, which is his will that is good, pleasant, and perfect.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Christians are able to triumph over the temptations of the world and bring their thoughts and actions into alignment with the will of God. The guiding of the Holy Spirit is highlighted in Galatians 5:16, which states, "So, I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." This verse emphasises the spirit's role in leading a life that is pleasing to God.
Worship as a Way of Life
In order to live a life that is acceptable to God as a Christian, one must maintain a constant attitude of worship. According to Romans 12:1-2, Christians are urged to present their bodies to God as living sacrifices that are pure and acceptable to him. The verse reads, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."
The concept of worship covers not just the performance of formal religious rites but also every facet of life. This feeling is encapsulated in the verse found in Colossians chapter 3:17: "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." When carried out in accordance with the will of God, everyday activity, from the most routine to the most exceptional, transforms into an occasion for worship.
The Model in the Person of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the one who best exemplifies what it means to live a life that is pleasant to Heaven and Earth. Philippians 2:5-8 encourages Christians to model their humility after that of Christ, so may we as children of God continue to walk worthy of the salvation that has been granted to us.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God.
But made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV
