Prayer of Dedication
ba Father we acknowledge You this morning as our Lord and Master. Lord give us the desire to dedicate ourselves into faithfully serving You. Help us Lord to devote our time and services to You that your great and mighty works will manifest in our lives.
Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 2 Corinthians 13:13
I know this world is not perfect and hell fire would be worse! Please help us to make the right choice which is heaven! Please count us worthy for heaven.
Father we understand in John 14:6 that Jesus Christ is the only sure way to heaven; and if we believe and follow you surely, we can make it on the last day. Therefore, I confess you Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. We will serve You from now on, and forever. We confess our sins and repent from them. Lord help us to be determined to start afresh with you in holiness and integrity. Please let us remain heavenly bound. For we have obtained our salvation by grace through faith in the name of your Son Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father help us to offer our spirit, our soul, and our body to You for a place of habitation, Lord, please cleanse and rearrange any portion of our being that does not align with Your original design or purpose for our lives? Lord I petition on behalf of strengthening the believes to bring my thoughts, words, deeds, and the intents of our heart to You. Thank You for renewing our minds as Your light and grace work in us, helping us to take our thoughts captive and bring them into obedience to Christ and agreement with You.
Holy Spirit, as we open our spirit to You, please fill us afresh with Your love, joy, and peace; Your kindness, patience, and goodness; as well as Your faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control? Will You release into and through us Your words of wisdom, words of knowledge, and discernment of spirits; Your faith, healings, and miracles; tongues, interpretation of tongues, and prophecy?
Lord, give us a double portion to supply us continuously with the empowering grace we need to walk out a life that honours You as our Father and the Son. We believe that as we surrender daily to Your life within us, you will transform us into all You designed us to be. As we live out the fullness of that design through partnership with Your grace, we will accomplish Your purpose for having created us, and thus give the Father the glory that is due Him.
