Morning Prayer To Start The Weekend
Holy Spirit we welcome Your into our lives this morning.
We Glorify Your name for who You are this morning.
We thank You for what You have done and what You are about to do in our lives.
Father we pray as we draw closer to the weekend let us remember that You are our priority, and You should get the first fruit from us. We can see Your glory because the heaven declares it and reminds us of a new day and chance to run to You. Thank You for reminding us that life is not always easy but You are our burden bearer, so we can rest knowing we don’t have to take the hard times into each new day. Lord forgive us for dwelling on the past and for holding onto grudges.
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Saviour, who daily bears our burdens.
Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death.
Psalm 68:19-20 NIV
Father, I thank you for Your intervention in our lives and for allowing us to have that personal relationship with You. We say thank You for Your love for us today and forever. Lord help us to live a life of true joy as we see you at work in and around us today Holy Father, I pray you would move Your Spirit more boldly in my life and everyone who reads this prayer today.
I come against every spirit of temptation in sin because I know that any sin can grieve and diminish the voice of Your Spirit. Help us to crave Your presence more than we crave sin. Help us to grow in the fruit of the Spirit according to Galatians 5 :22-23 so that we can walk closer to and have a better relationship with You. I pray for guidance thru Your Spirit, let Your will and promises always be a meditation of our hearts.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.
Gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23 NIV
Heavenly Father we thank you for Your abundant and abounding grace. Thank You for the unexpected unmerited favour You have showered on our lives. Give us that zeal and desire to meet with You regularly and to drink from the water of life. Thank you for your eternal love.
Teach us today to become more reliant on You. Bring us into a greater discernment of how You operate, so that we may come into a deeper understanding not only to see from the natural eyes but to also see from the spiritual eyes.
Help us not to be anxious for anything but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to you. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our mind in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
AMEN
MAY THE LORD BLESS AND GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE WEEKEND
