Morning Prayer To Start The Week

Lord, we honor you as our Lord and Saviour

We give you all the glory

We praise your holy name; there is none like you

Oh God, how excellent is your name in all the earth

"Oh God, the prophet of the Highest, we are grateful to live to see another day. Invoking you in our prayers, we beseech you to bless and meet the needs of all people we love and care about. May your grace enable us to savor your cups of joy and serenity. We are grateful to you for guarding us, curing us, and giving us everything we require as we enter the day, week, month, and year. We dedicate today to you and beg you to let your love into our hearts.

May nothing stand between You and us today, Lord. Teach us to select only your path today so that each action brings us one step nearer to you. Please lead us not by feelings but by the Word of God. Keep our hearts untainted and unbroken. Please shield us from our own thoughtless words, acts, and thoughts. And stop us from becoming side-tracked in our wishes, wants, and ideas about how things ought to be. Please help us to accept any challenges we face as opportunities rather than drawbacks.

Guide Us in living out Psalm 86:13 assertion, “Great is your love for me."

For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of death.

Psalm 86:13 NIV

Lord, guide us today along the path of peace and fortify our will to follow your instructions. God, we sincerely thank you for the remainder of last night and the gift of a brand-new day with its service opportunities. In the complete freedom of your service, kindly allow us to pass the hours so that, at dusk, we may once more give you thanks. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. "Hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven," said "Our Father Who art in heaven." Give us our daily bread today and pardon our transgressions as we forgive those who transgress against us and deliver us from all evil. Because "the kingdom, the power, and the glory are thine forever."

AMEN
