Morning Prayer To Start The Week

Heavenly Father, we thank you for this glorious morning

We worship your holy name

We give you all the glory and honour that is due unto you

We thank you for giving us the chance to see another day

Thank you for loving us despite of our sins

Lord, you bring us through last week as we enter the new week we ask for your guidance and protection

Almighty God and the everlasting Father, we pray today that we will yield our spirit completely to you, that you may use us as you please. You have brought us to the beginning of a new day. As the world is renewed fresh and clean, so we ask you to renew our hearts and minds with your strength and purpose. Forgive us the errors of yesterday and bless us to walk closer in your way today, shine through us today.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2 KJV

As we go through the week, we pray that you will provide us opportunities to show someone how much you mean to us. Give us discretion to know what to say and how to say it. Make us bold enough that we may proclaim salvation cheerfully and joyfully.

We pray that the seeds you allow us to plant will grow and mature. Abba Father, we pray that you, will water the seeds that you allow us to plant as we go into the new week. Help us to be forever grateful for the cross, may we proclaim it in a contagious way today. Help us to continue to do our good work, according to your word in Philippians 1:6 stated that he that started at good work will continue we ask that your holy spirit up lift us.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

You are a wonderful God, full of grace and mercy. I praise you for allowing me another day to spend with our loved ones. Lord help us to remember what a difference it makes when we make time with you a priority in our morning. Awaken us in body and spirit each day with a desire to meet with you and to hear you speak words of affirmation, assurance, and wisdom over our hearts as we prepare to go into the day.

Forgive me the errors of yesterday and bless me to walk closer in Your way today. Lord may nothing separate me from You today. Teach me how to choose only Your way today, so each step will lead me closer to You. Help me walk by the Word and not my feelings. Help me to keep my heart pure and undivided. Protect me from my own careless thoughts, words, and actions. And keep me from being distracted by my wants, my desires, my thoughts on how things should be. Help me to embrace what comes my way as an opportunity, rather than a personal inconvenience. And finally, help me to rest in the truth of Psalm 86:13, "Great is your love toward me."
