Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father we thank you for allowing us to see this another morning. As we begin the day align our hearts and minds in THANKSGIVING, HUMILITY, and LOVE for you God. Help us not to start the day feeling anxious because your word in Philippians 4: 6-7 gives us reassurance that every difficulty faced throughout the day if we come to you with prayer and thanksgiving you will give us the peace we need to overcome all anxieties.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 NIV

Lord, as humans it is easy for us to be distracted, frustrated, or always in a hurry, as this new day begin we are asking you to give us peace to better approach this day and to be more resilient against the temptation to sin. As we begin this day help us to seek your grace and mercy oh God, as it says in 2nd John 1:3

Grace, mercy and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

2nd John 1:3 KJV

God, we want to sincerely give you thanks for allowing us to sleep through the night and for the gift of a new day, with its opportunities to please you. I pray that you give us the strength we need today as we navigate this world filled with trials and temptations.

Lord, you know that there are struggles we will go through, but you gave us reassurance in Jeremiah 29 :11 that the plans you have for us is good, and not of evil. I pray that you will be with us as we go through them.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29: 11 NLT

Carry us when we are weak, so we do not stumble and fall into temptation. Forgive us Heavenly Father. Lead us away from them, and lead us into the path of righteousness. Abba Father we need Your strength to overcome these evils.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Psalm 23 :3 KJV

Lord. you are worthy of all praises and all the honour in this world. You are our strength and our protection.
