Morning Prayer

God's Presence To Dwell Among Us

We praise Your Name for who You are this morning.

Holy are You Lord, we worship Your Majesty

Eternal Lord, God our Master may nothing separate us from You today.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ, shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come.

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:35-39 KJV

Help us not to walk in our way, teach us how to choose Your way today so each step will lead us closer to You.

Your word said in John 1:1 that You are the Word, help us to walk by Your Word and not by our feelings, help us to keep our hearts, our minds pure and undivided.

Heavenly Father You promise to be there among your people. If we abide in your love, You will abide in us, knowing that You go wherever we go. In this knowledge, we will find joy. We look forward to being in Your physical presence someday so until then we take comfort in knowing this.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 KJV

Lord please protect us from all harm, dangers and even our own careless thoughts, words, and actions. As we are in a new year help us to embrace what comes our way as an opportunity, rather than a

personal inconvenience, and help us to rest in the truth as You said it in Psalm 86:13.

For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. Psalm 86:13 KJV

Lord help us to lay aside every heavy weight this morning and let Your presence flow through and around us that whatever we touch, say or do You will get the glory.

You are an all knowing God, You already see all the ways we will fall short but You have delivered us out of our darkest pit. Help us to be still to Your voice that consciously whispers of Your absolute love for us into the deepest part of our hearts. I recognize Your love for us is not based on our performance. You love us in spite of who we are, that's amazing. But what's most amazing is that the Saviour of the world would desire a few minutes with us this morning.

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:13

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

Psalm 27:4

For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

Hebrews 9:24

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 16:11

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Matthew 28:20

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men.

Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Psalm 31:19-20
