Morning Prayer

Our Heavenly Father, to whom shall we go but to You?

You are the word and you have the words of eternal life!

You have redeemed us by Your blood, and You will not cut us off when we come to You.

Grant us daily blessing, you have died for us, so that we can come boldly to Your throne of grace to ask for the remission of all our sins. O Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world, have mercy upon us.

We thank You for Your care, which has been so constant and so faithful each and every today.

We are surrounded by unseen dangers, with no power to protect ourselves, and You have protected us.

We have walked in paths we did not know and You have led us.

Everything we see today, let it be through your eyes.

Everything we do today, let it be your will.

Every hardship we face today, let us place it in your hands.

Every emotion we feel today, let it be your spirit moving in us.

Everything we seek today, let us find it in your love Abba Father, we thank you for this day.

We have carried burdens which were too heavy for us, but according to

Isaiah 46: 4 You have carried us, you will protect us and You have sustained us.

And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isaiah 46:4 KJV

We have met problems we could not solve, and You have given us wisdom.

The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. Psalm 37:30 KJV

Lord thank You for the blessings of Your providence. We thank You for Your love, and grace received from the Bible and through Your Spirit, we thank You.

May we lay at Your feet, the work of Your day, what is stained with sin, may You graciously cleanse us, correct our mistakes and let them not block our work or hurt other lives. What You can use of the work of our hands, mouth and feet, may You use for Your own glory.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Luke 6:45 KJV

Lord we know that we cannot do anything of a spiritual nature to bring ourselves near to You, but I am equally sure that we can do many things that set us very far from You.

Let all the shame and guilt be ours; all the grace and glory are God’s.

Every drop of felt mercy.

Every ray of gracious hope.

Every sweet application of truth to the heart.

Every sense of saving interest.

Every blessed testimony.

Every sweet indulgence

Every heavenly smile.

Every tender desire, and every spiritual feeling.

They are all of You, God. If ever my heart is softened, my spirit blessed, my soul watered, if Christ is ever felt to be precious, it is all of Your grace; it is all given freely, sovereignly, without money and without price. Thank You Jesus

MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU
