Morning Prayer

Dear Father God,

as we come before Your presence this morning, help us to relax the tension of our mind and soul, calm the restlessness of our mind, Still the thoughts which worry and perplex us.

Help us to rest our problem in your strong and loving arms. Let your Spirit speak to our minds and hearts while we are asleep. Lord watch over us as David watch over his father’s sheep.

“In peace, I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalms 4:8 KJV

Help us when we wake up in the morning, we may find that we have received the night time

Light for the way

Strength for the tasks

Peace for our worries

Forgiveness for our sins

Lord, please grant us the peace that passed through all understanding, and tomorrow power to live with our hearts and minds focus on You.
