Great is Thy Faithfulness

The dictionary defines faithful as being true to one’s word, promises or vows.

Biblical view :

Deuteronomy 7:9, Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;.

Faithfulness comes from a place of love and loyalty to someone. How can we do that? It is a conscious decision we make to practice regardless of the pain, joy or sorrows we encounter on a daily basis. It is important as believers in Christ to remain faithful to Him by believing that He is who He says He is and does what He says He does by having developed a relationship with Him.

Lamentations 3: 22-23 emphasize that through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fair not. They are new every morning; great is His faithfulness.

According to 1 Thessalonians 5:24 He who calls you faithful, who also will do it. So you see in this passage if you remain faithful to God He will remain faithful to you.

The story of Abraham and Sarah can be found in the book of Genesis, the bible echoes that Abraham was a real man of faith and God gave him his heart’s. desire.

I just want to give God the glory for His faithfulness in my life knowing that I can stand to declare that He has worked wonders in my life, there is nothing too hard for God to fix.

I totally agree with this song writer that said great is thy faithfulness Lord unto me the writer didn’t stop but went on to say there is no shadow of turning back with thee thou changes not thy compassions, they fail not. God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

1st Corinthians 10:12-13 stated that God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may able to endure it.

There are so may different ways to sin in this world which can cause us to change and not remain faithful. I enjoy reading this bible verse it explains that when we are in Christ He does not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able to handle.

God is good.
